Lunar New Year is a major occasion for celebration in diverse New York City and Pulse Events is bringing two of the biggest Asian-American dance music artists – Gryffin and KSHMR. Both shows will take place at the massive Knockdown Center in culturally rich Queens.
On Friday, January 20, Gryffin will headline the over 3,000-capacity venue. Born to an American father and a Japanese mother, Gryffin grew up with classical piano training and learned to play guitar at a young age. His talents have propelled him to become one of the most popular future bass and electropop producers. Gryffin’s tracks like ‘FeelGood’, ‘All You Need To Know’, ‘Tie Me Down’ and ‘Whole Heart’ are dance music anthems and he’s known for playing electrifying DJ and live sets.
The show on Saturday, January 21, will feature one of the leaders in electro house, KSHMR. American of Kashmiri-Indian descent, KSHMR has created a unique sound and his own label, Dharma Worldwide. Following his breakthrough ‘Megalodon’, he’s released numerous explosive tracks including ‘Memories’ and ‘Burn’. KSHMR’scollaborations with industry icons include ‘Secrets’ with Tiësto and ‘Power’ withHardwell.
Both events will deliver top-tier production including interactive Crowdsync wristbands that will make them special, not-to-be-missed shows.
