Usher in the Lunar New Year with SLANDER and Alan Walker in NYC
Unite in a Lunar New Year celebration with SLANDER and Alan Walker at the second edition of Pulse Events’ Spring Festival at Avant Gardner.
The annual Chinese Spring Festival holds profound significance for many Asian cultures. It marks a cultural symbol that harmonizes traditions, family gatherings, and the promise of a renewed beginning. It is refreshing to witness a growing emphasis on cultural representation within the electronic music scene as the global dance community comes together once again to pay homage to the Lunar New Year. Following the successful inaugural event in 2023, Spring Festival is set to make its return to Avant Gardner in Brooklyn on February 18-19 for a full venue takeover.
Presented by Pulse Events, the second edition of the Lunar New Year celebration will feature headlining performances by SLANDER and Alan Walker. On February 18, the all-time favorite melodic-bass duo SLANDER will return to Avant Gardner after their electrifying performance alongside Kill The Noise in March this year. Then, on February 19, Norwegian superstar Alan Walker will take the stage. His imminent return to the city promises to be a delightful treat for the fans as he continues to build on a reputation for uniting the fans through music.
"Lunar New Year is the most important festival for Asians. In our inaugural Spring Festival in 2023, we successfully combined electronic music with the Lunar New Year culture. For our 2024 edition, more Chinese cultural elements will be added like a New Year night market concept, lion dances, and other special activities and decorations. We are thrilled to continue joining forces with Avant Gardner and to open up Great Hall and Kings Hall for two stages of music for fans. I hope everyone can come and experience this unique dance music cultural event!" - Pulse Events Founder and CEO Luffy Huang
