Dutch duo Yellow Claw are returning to New York City for a unique show on May 20th 2032 titled ‘I Love U’ Day, also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day. Nils Rondhuis and Jim Taihuttu, the have captivated dance music lovers for more than a decade with their riveting mix of genres. Their tracks include elements from trap, bass, dubstep, hardstyle and hip hop. Be sure to grab your tickets here before they sell out!
Yellow Claw’s 2015 debut studio album Blood For Mercy landed No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Music albums chart and their tracks ‘DJ Turn It Up’, ‘Till It Hurts’ and ‘Shotgun’ are timeless classics. With those successes and many more, Yellow Claw amassed a huge following among the Asian community.
Pulse Events presents Yellow Claw on May 20, which is written out 520 and when those numbers are pronounced in Chinese, sound similar to “I love you”. 520 is used as slang online to say “I love you”, just like ILY is used to say that in English. There’s no better occasion to express love than to celebrate with music and dancing.
Yellow Claw will be supported by well-known artists in the dance music scene. SAYMYNAME will throw down as the pioneer of the hardtrap genre fusing hardstyle and trap. Taiwanese-American DJ/producer JVNA is set to bring both heart-pounding and melodic beats. More artists are to be announced. Expect massive production for this special event. You can grab tickets to see for yourself here!
